SurPrice Car Hire at Malta International Airport
Malta caters for all different holiday styles. They have resorts which have all the amenities as well as more secluded areas where you can be away from the hustle and bustle. Whichever accommodation you are heading to from the airport, a hire car is probably the simplest and most comfortable way to get there. Malta has a rich history dating back thousands of year so just about everywhere you go there is something new to discover. There is also plenty for the kids including theme parks and many activities centred around the beaches. In the evening there are many restaurants serving delicious local fare.
SurPrice are a budget brand so they provide car hire at very competitive prices. They are able to offer lower rates because often their cars are not as new as those from a premium brand. You may also find they will discuss the additional voluntary insurance they offer when you get to the desk. As a popular low cost brand there can also be longer queues in peak periods. The SurPrice desk at Malta airport is on the first floor of the arrival hall.
The standard package from SurPrice comes with main insurances included with an excess. It is also a fair fuel policy meaning you do not pay for fuel that you don't use. You can opt for the Super Cover package instead if you would like to remove the excess and reduce the security deposit required. Always check the terms and conditions as their are exclusions. Child seats and GPS devices can be requested and then an additional charge will be made.

SurPrice is a budget car hire company, with their focus being mainly on price. If you are looking for a really competitive deal, and are happy to accept that their cars may not be the newest around, then SurPrice may be the hire company for you. You may find that the service or car quality does not always meet the high standards of the larger companies. They will be keen to encourage you to take their in-house excess insurance.
Due to the latest COVID-19 measures in Malta, flights will be serviced in a different arrival hall. After you exit the arrival hall, turn right and pass the smoking area. Then, there is a emergency exit that is actually the entrance for the Surprice office.
Alternatively, you can exit the building and enter back to the airport and follow the signs for Costa Coffee.
