About Us at Clarify Car Hire
Clarify Car Hire are holiday car hire specialists. The company is part of the Moneymaximiser group of companies who have been helping customers avoid some of the worse practices in the car rental business since 2008.
Clarify was born out of feedback we received from some the many tens of thousands of users of our car hire excess insurance website which is hosted on Moneymaxim.co.uk. The sharp practices and hard sell adopted by car hire firms around the world led us to spend approaching two years to create a site that will provide our users with what many are seeking - car rental deals - totally clarified.
We are the first site that will display all the costs you might face at the rental desk at the time of booking – allowing you to make an informed choice in the comfort of your home.
The reasons others avoid doing what we have done is simple – because they can extract more from your pocket through subterfuge and hidden charges.
However because Clarify is entirely owned by the management team of our business we can make decisions that may be less profitable short term but, as we know from past experience, will build us a strong and loyal customer base of clients who know they can trust us to do the right thing by them.
Our service launched first in the UK and Italy, and will rapidly expand across the rest of Europe, the USA and Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other key destinations.
We are based in Wokingham in the UK and our customer service team are all located within our head office. This enables us to act rapidly if our team report any customer feedback that requires action.

Our parent company Moneymaximiser.co.uk is regulated and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, although we must point out that car hire is not an industry that is part of their remit. However it does mean that our customer service processes are designed to meet the exacting standards expected by the FCA.
