Perugia Airport Car Hire
Also known as San Francesco d'Assisi Airport, Perugia airport is the main international airport for the region of Umbria. It was formerly Perugia Santegidio airport. The airport is the base for flights to several European destinations including London, Brussels, Frankfurt and Tirana. It is not a huge airport so not many airlines use it. Ryanair is the only airline that flies direct between London and Perugia. It is about a 20 minute drive from the airport to the centre of Perugia.

Please be sure to have all your documents with you when you arrive including your driving licence, valid credit card and car hire voucher in order that your processing goes smoothly. Follow the car hire signs as you exit the baggage claim area. The representatives at the desk will inform you about the procedure for returning the car to the airport.

As Perugia is a relatively small airport, services are fairly limited. It is a good idea to be well prepared before you travel to avoid any issues. You will, however, find a cash machine. a cafe and a shop for any emergencies you may have or to get a quick bite to eat before you board your flight.
