Only credit card payments (Mastercard and Visa) are accepted. Pre-paid credit cards, Laser, Maestro, debit, or Switch cards, Maestro/Visa and American Express are not accepted for deposit or rental payment. In the event that a customer fails to present a valid credit card or there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, the car rental agent may refuse the release of the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed. Debit cards are not accepted for the security deposit unless the Premium PLUS package is purchased.
Please be aware that if you use your debit card for the security deposit and/or the fuel deposit it can take up to 30 days for this to reach your account once it has been refunded by the car hire supplier at the end of the rental. This is due to the international banking systems not due to delays by either the car rental company or Clarify Car Hire.
