Debit cards are accepted for the deposit if the Super Collision Damage Waiver is purchased at the rental counter. No cash payment is accepted.
The renter allows a deposit plus the estimated rental cost to be drawn from the credit card at the beginning of the rental to cover any excess/self-risk, fuel, penalties or any other unforeseen cost.
The final statement will be done soonest possible after check-in of the vehicle. No cash payment is accepted. The accepted cards stated above must be in the main driver's name with sufficient funds available to cover the excess liability and with validity for a minimum of 6 months. Failure to provide a valid card may result in the booking being cancelled.
Please be aware that if you use your debit card for the security deposit and/or the fuel deposit it can take up to 30 days for this to reach your account once it has been refunded by the car hire supplier at the end of the rental. This is due to international banking systems not due to delays by either the car rental company or Clarify Car Hire.
No other cards will be accepted (debit cards will be accepted to cover the deposit with the Premium Plus package only).

For security purposes, they are required to provide a pre-authorisation for a deposit amount equal to 100% of the deductible The security deposit and deductible will be processed exclusively through the credit card provided by the customer, or the additional driver listed on, and who has signed the contract. In the event that there are no incidents involving the vehicle, the excess deposit or pre-authorisation will be automatically released by the bank at the end of the contract.
The main driver must have a Card in their own name when collecting the vehicle.
