Locauto Rent always reserves the right - at their sole discretion - to ask for a second credit card or to decline the rental when the guarantees offered by the customer are not considered sufficient, or any other major issues make him not eligible for rental.
If you use a debit card, the deposit amount will be taken from your debit card and returned (if there are no deductions) at the end of the rental. This amount can take up 30 days to show back in your account, please be aware of this prior to booking with a debit card. Locauto and Clarify Car Hire take no responsibility for bank charges or a reduced amount being returned due to fluctuations in the exchange rate.

Recordgo will accept both credit cards and debit cards through a mobile wallet such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay etc., for both the deposit and payment.
Prepaid cards (including Revolut) are allowed for the final rental payment as long as a credit card is used for the deposit at the beginning of the rental.
A credit card is mandatory for the following car Premium groups such as: PSAR, PXAR, PTAR, LTAR, LSAR, LLAR, JVAR, PFAR, PVAR, PDAH, XFAR, PQAR, PFAC, PFAH.
The cardholder must be present when the rental agreement is signed. Only one card is permitted per rental agreement and must show the holder's name. The holder must know the card's PIN number and provide cc number and expiration date if requested.
When a debit card is presented the pre-authorisation is charged and not blocked, due to the impossibility of blocking charges into a debit card.
The payer must ensure that the bank card has sufficient funds at the time of picking up the vehicle to pay for the rental with all the selected options, and, where applicable, to block or charge the pre-authorisation amount corresponding to the group of the rented vehicle.

Payment must be made with Visa / Visa Electron (credit or debit) or MasterCard (credit or debit) cards.Credit/Debit cards must be nominative. Prepaid cards, American Express, Maestro or Diners Club are not accepted.
For groups C2 - S1 - S1A - S2 - S2A - S3 - S3A - S10, two credit cards will be required to be presented at the desk as a guarantee to collect the vehicle.
Centauro accept debit cards with their standard and SMART package. Please be aware that if you intend on using a debit card, the full deposit amount will be charged to your debit card. On the return of the vehicle, Centauro will refund the deposit if there is no damage to the vehicle, however, this amount can take up to 30 days to get back into your account. In addition, you may not receive the same amount back in GBP as was left as the deposit, this is due to exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges. Centauro and Clarify Car Hire take no responsibility if the amount returned is less than was debited at the beginning of the rental.
(Due to fluctuations in the rate of exchange and other bank charges, Centauro will not be responsible for any difference between the rate charged and on any refunds made.)

The following Credit Cards are accepted: AMEX, EUROCARD, VISA, DINERS, ACCESS. For the car categories Full Size and Premium two credit cards of two different circuits are required, or alternatively, one credit card Amex Gold, Platinum or Centurion (black), Visa Gold or Platinum, or, finally, a Mastercard Gold.
For Luxury car groups Europcar requires two credit cards of which at least one is either an Amex Gold, Platinum, or Centurion (black), or a Visa Gold or Platinum or, finally, a Mastercard Gold. Debit cards are accepted only if issued by a bank: VISA DEBIT, MASTERCARD DEBIT, AMEX DEBIT, V-PAY. Prepaid or revolving debit cards are not accepted.
Lacking even only one of the above-mentioned elements required to guarantee the rental, Europcar will not be able to provide the requested vehicle but, as an alternative, a vehicle belonging to a different category: in any case, no refund is provided.

For the rental payment, the driver must be in possession of a valid non-electronic and non-prepaid credit card (virtual credit cards are not accepted), registered under the drivers name upon pick up of vehicle. In case of missing credit card with these requirements, it will not be possible to enter the rental agreement and collect the vehicle. The driver’s credit card must also have enough credit to cover the total cost of the rental as well as the deposit which will be pre-authorised upon pick up of the vehicle.SicilybyCar accept international American Express, Visa/Mastercard cradit cards. No cash deposit or cheques will be accepted. Diners and Discover credit cards are no longer accepted by Sicily by Car. It is important for the client to remember the credit card PIN Number in case the bank requires it for the transaction at the desk.
In case of rental with a debit/prepaid card as guarantee, the customer will have to subscribe to the related extra Debit Package, which
also includes Car Protection Plus, Pai Plus and Road Assistance Plus covers. The Debit Package can be used as long as the customer has one of the following debit/prepaid cards: Mastercard Debit, Mastercard Prepaid, Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Prepaid, Visa Electron, V Pay, PagoBANCOMAT, UnionPay debit, UnionPay prepaid, JCB debit and JCB prepaid, regardless of the institution or bank that issued the card.
As soon as the vehicle is returned, unless a partial or the completely charged amount should be kept, the deposit will be released by Sicily by Car within 6 working days. Providing your IBAN and BIC codes is necessary in order to give back your deposit. € 0.35 + 16% surcharges + 22% VAT will be deducted from the refunded amount as a service charge. Considering the economic value of the vehicle and the limited amount of the card plafond, the delivery of the vehicle could be subject to the incontestable discretion of the desk representative.
Renting of Premium vehicles X/PFAR - L/UFBD:
For the rentals of vehicles belonging to group L/UFBD and X/PFAR, the driver must be in possession of n° 1 (one) credit card registered under his name; it is mandatory that the above-mentioned credit card belongs to the type listed below. In the absence of the above-mentioned requirements will not be possible to proceed with the conclusion of the rental contract and delivery of the car.
- VISA: Visa Gold; Visa Platinum; Visa Infinite; Visa Black; Visa Signature
- MATERCARD: Mastercard Gold; Mastercard Platinum; Mastercard World; Mastercard World Elite.
- AMERICAN EXPRESS: Card Gold American Express; Card Platinum American Express; Card ITA Airways Gold American Express; Card ITA Airways Platinum American Express; Card Gold Business American Express; Card Platinum Business American Express; Card Corporate Gold American Express; Card Corporate Platinum American Express; Card Black American Express.
In the absence of even one of the requested documents, it will not be possible to proceed with the delivery of the vehicle. If customer is not in possession of his/her own valid driving licence, it will be possible to add an extra driver as sole authorised driver.

All services must be paid for by a VISA, MASTERCARD credit card. OK Mobility will accept credit cards regardless if the numbering is embossed or not. Other payment forms, including debit cards, are not accepted. The card must be in the name of the lead driver. Cash and debit card payment is not allowed. The security and fuel deposit amount will be taken through the credit card provided by the customer. Should there be no damage or incident with the vehicle, this deposit will be released automatically at the end of the rental. The credit card must have sufficient available credit to cover the excess and security and fuel deposit amount (the deposits will be pre-authorised on the Card throughout the hire period). Any local charges, extras or other equipment or services purchased at the car hire desk will also be charged to the card.
