Diners, Pre-Paid (VISA / Mastercard) are not accepted under any circumstances. Debit cards are not accepted, except for the events when Green Motion Premium Plus Package is purchased, then you may use your debit card to cover a small deposit.

The accepted cards listed above must be in the main driver’s name, have sufficient funds to cover the excess liability, and have an expiration date of at least 2 months beyond the return date of the rental. All cards must have both the card number and expiry date clearly visible; cards without these details cannot be accepted. If a valid card is not provided, the booking may be cancelled, and no refund will be issued for any prepaid amount.
In the event that the original booking was paid for utilising a third party credit or debit card, hirers may be required to present details, permissions and authorisation relating to the transaction. Failure to provide the information requested may result in the hire being refused.

Please be aware that if you use your debit card for the security deposit and/or the fuel deposit it can take up to 30 days for this to reach your account once it has been refunded by the car hire supplier at the end of the rental. This is due to international banking systems, not delays by either the car hire company or Clarify Car Hire.

Please note that payment for the rental or deposit via a mobile wallet such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay etc. will not be accepted at the hire desk. The lead driver must present a physical payment card in their name.

× AddCar As a form of payment, addCar accepts the following credit cards: VISA, and Master Card. Cash payments, cheques, prepaid cards, unembossed cards are not accepted. Renter allows a deposit plus the estimated rental cost to be drawn from the credit card at the beginning of rental to cover any excess/self-risk, fuel, penalties or any other unforeseen cost. The final statement will be done soonest possible after check-in of the vehicle.

The customers are allowed to use their debit cards for final payment and deposit (if allowed by the bank) only when they purchase the SCDW package at the rental desk. Revolut Cards can only accepted when client purchases the SCDW insurance on the rental desk.

The credit/debit card must be in the lead driver's name. All cards must be valid at least 3 months from the inception of the rental. Pre-authorisation will be blocked for 30 days from the inception date of the rental and will be released by the bank directly.

× CityGo Rentals You need a credit card to formalise the contract. VISA or MASTERCARD credit cards WITH EMBOSSED OR RAISED NUMBERS, CHIP & PIN will be required and presented to cover any extras such as excess security deposit, damage/loss of keys or extra days. Credit card must be in the name of the main driver.
Payments can be taken from any third-party credit cards but the hirer will require a Credit Card in his/her name.
Debit Cards are ONLY accepted for deposits when a client purchases the PDW/FDW insurance. This can be purchased on collection when collecting your vehicle. This way, you don’t need a credit card.
Clarify Car Hire rates for the following vehicles already include PDW insurance, therefore, it's allowed to use a debit card for the deposit:
MBMR, EBAR, CBMR, CBAR, ICMR, DWMR, DWAH, SFMR, SFAR, RVMR , FVMR.

American Express Card and cash are not accepted. Maestro and Electron Cards are not accepted for guarantee only for payment.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PIN NUMBER AS TRANSACTIONS CANNOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT YOUR PIN.
