Debit Card Car Hire at Warsaw Chopin Airport
Credit cards and debit cards VISA, Mastercard and American Express are accepted for both the deposit and final payments.Pre-Paid (VISA / Mastercard), Electronic use cards and Diners cannot be accepted as forms of either rental payments or for the security deposit. Other payment forms are not allowed.
The accepted cards listed above must be in the main driver’s name, have sufficient funds to cover the excess liability and have an expiration date of at least 2 months beyond the return date of the rental. If a valid card is not provided, the booking may be cancelled, and no refund will be issued for any prepaid amount.
In the event that the original reservation was paid for utilising a third-party credit or debit card, hirers may be required to present details, permissions and authorisation relating to the transaction. Failure to provide the information requested may result in the hire being refused.
Please be aware that if you use your debit card for the security deposit and/or the fuel deposit it can take up to 30 days for this to reach your account once it has been refunded by the car hire supplier at the end of the rental. This is due to the international banking systems not due to delays by either the car rental company or Clarify Car Hire.
Please note that payment for the rental or deposit via a mobile wallet such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay etc. will not be accepted at the hire desk. The lead driver must present a physical payment card in their name.
As a form of payment, addCar accepts the following credit cards: VISA, and Master Card. Cash payments are not accepted. The renter allows a deposit plus the estimated rental cost to be drawn from the credit card at the beginning of rental to cover any excess/self-risk, fuel, penalties or any other unforeseen cost. The final statement will be done soonest possible after check-in of the vehicle. Please ensure your payment card has your full name on, abbreviations (including showing initials for the first name) will not be accepted.
When purchasing the SCDW package, the customers are allowed to use the debit cards for the deposits (if allowed by the bank) and payments, except for Maestro Debit Cards.
