After the year we've had no one wants to revisit the tedious cancellation processes they faced last summer. We therefore want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to cancel their car hire without penalty or loss. In this blog we explain our new policy on cancellations!
If you choose to cancel your car hire booking, we will sort that for you, no questions asked. You will receive an automated email from our system showing your booking has been cancelled and you will get a refund for the money paid for the deposit, including for any insurance you have purchased when booking your hire. It really is as simple as that!

All we ask is that you let us know if you need to cancel up to the 48 hours before your booking commences. After this time has passed, we are unable to refund the deposit. If you cancel after your booking has started, we will also not be able to refund any money already paid.
In addition to this, we have a best price guarantee in place. This gives you the right to rebook your car hire through Clarify Car Hire if the price has reduced since your original booking. Once you have rebooked, we will cancel your original rental and the deposit paid for that booking. Again, this all needs to be done prior to 48 hours before the booking commences.
We have introduced these policies because we know circumstances change and we want to make sure that as our customers, you have control over your booking. Instead of putting barriers in the way when it comes to cancelling or rebooking, we want to make it as simple as possible so you can book in the first instance knowing that you will not be out of pocket.
