Why can't you confirm my car rental booking immediately?
In line with the Clarify Car Hire ethos we prefer to be totally transparent. When we ask a car hire firm to reserve a car for you we ask for definite confirmation that this has been done. In most cases this can be done immediately, but for some we are asked to wait while the car hire checks availability. This can be the case particularly if you are booking something a little out of the ordinary like a vehicle with winter tyres or your hire has a pick up time out of office hours.
In such instances we send you an email to let you know that your booking is awaiting confirmation and will be in touch as soon as we have received confirmation. This is normally within 24 hours, 48 hours at the longest, especially where different time zones come into play.
