OK Mobility - Who are they and where do they operate?
We have worked with OK Mobility (previously OK Rent a Car) for years now, in fact they were one of the first car hire partners we started working with. In that time, they have grown their fleet year on year and have also increased the number of countries they operate out of. Here at Clarify Car hire, we think their product offering is brilliant and below we explain why.
The standard package from OK Mobility includes a full to full fuel policy and the excess and security amounts are pretty standard for the countries they are in. However, they really come into their own with their Premium Package which allows customers to use their debit cards should they wish. OK Mobility was one of the early adopters of a debit card friendly package which they rightly identified allowed more people the opportunity to hire.
The premium package reduces your deposit and eliminates your excess as well as covering the vehicle's tyres and glass. It's a great package for customers looking to reduce the amount they are liable for.
In addition, OK Mobility's vehicles are more often than not under a year old. So they are amazing value for money and it's always nice to drive a nearly new car! They do generally tend to offer vehicle upgrades for an additional cost at the car hire desk. This sometimes is nice to take as you get a slightly bigger car (particularly handy if you think the car you originally booked won't fit your suitcases in!). It also can be good as you'll see the upgrades on the forecourt and if it's a car you've fancied driving for a while, a holiday is the perfect time to do it.
OK Mobility started in Spain and their head office is in Palma de Mallorca. Currently they are in Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Portugal and Spain (including Gran Canaria and Tenerife South Airport). So their coverage is wide across Europe and they are always adding new locations. If you're travelling to one of the above countries and looking to use your debit card or for a zero excess insurance package have a look at OK Mobility and the great range of vehicles they offer.
